me trying to connect to things

some photos are based on stories and some are manifestations of different parts of Indian society that I just wanted to recreate, like having a little bit of it there with me. because sometimes I feel like I miss it even though the culture has never truly been mine. this project made me feel like it was.

Holi

march 27th was holi, so the sunday before there was a little celebration

I apologize because the photos I put up only ever seem to be of my sister and her friends

stinson beach

These are from January, around new year's, when we stayed here for a night. it's a small area, not quite a city, but I like walking around. food was expensive and the bed and breakfast had free coffee all day. we watched harold and maude and the drive back was not spectacular.

I couldn't sleep, these are photos of the three bathrooms in the house.
